The Cellar
Beyond the work I am hired to do, I still like to work on projects for myself as well. The sole reason I started off in this industry was to have the freedom to create things that are meaningful to me.
This is what birthed the idea of The Cellar, which was created by myself and two extremely talented friends Paul Lasseter and Marty Kane. My role was primarily focused on writing the concept, conducting the interviews, filming, as well as editing.
We set out to make a docu-series about wine that isn’t pretentious or uninviting, but rather the opposite. A beautiful and digestible way to learn about different types of wines, their history and their story. The idea of The Cellar is to have each episode tell the story of a single grape variety, so we started with a proof of concept (mini pilot) that tells the story of the grape variety, Merlot.
